About

Lakeside Estates and Lakeside Forest neighborhoods are in the heart of Houston's west side, with well-crafted traditional homes, lush trees and greenery and convenient to the city's business areas, shopping, medical centers and restaurants.

History

Both Lakeside Estates and Lakeside Forest were established in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with traditional one and two-story homes. The Lakeside Improvement Association oversees both subdivisions and uses collected homeowner association fees to benefit and improve the neighborhood.

Our residents enjoy a recreation center that includes a clubhouse for meetings or private parties, a large pool, and three tennis courts.   A neighborhood park is located just behind the pool and includes playground equipment for various ages and a covered picnic pavilion.  Many clubs and activities offer opportunities to meet your neighbors.

Throughout the year, the Lakeside hosts holiday events and other opportunities to socialize with your neighbors. There are also men's and women's tennis teams, a youth swim team, a garden club and a women's club.

Lakeside Improvement Association also ensures the neighborhood stays clean and safe by overseeing contracts for added patrols, waste removal and recycling.

All residents are welcome to attend monthly Lakeside Improvement Association meetings.
